By striving for continuous change towards excellence, Hari Krishna Exports ensures the organisation is a forerunner in its field of corporate and social responsibility.
Founded in 1992 by Mr Savji Dholakia and his three brothers, Hari Krishna Exports has evolved from being an entrepreneurial outfit of four brothers into a group with interests in domestic and international business arenas. Today, the organisation is globally active and successfully vertically integrated from rough to retail. We have set ourselves apart by staying true to our core value: Faith, which is reflected in our tagline “Faith is in the name”. Our commitment towards workmanship has been recognized by GJEPC of India through their award for excellence in export of cut and polished diamonds for the past 9 consecutive years.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Hari Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd through its Hari Krishna Charitable Trust is responsive to the needs of the society. Charity starts at home, and the company welfare starts with our workforce. We have taken various measures to ensure the well-being and growth of their families through the Group’s own hospital, sport facilities, gymnasium, library, auditorium, meditation centre, and regular motivation seminars. Every year a blood donation camp is organized to aid various health facilities. We also provide free library facilities for the public, a centre for senior citizens to spend their time reading, watching TV, listening to religious discourses etc. Seminars on promotion of values are held from time to time for the benefit of school teachers, government employees and police personnel. The company recently created an artificial lake spread over 17 acres in Village Dudhala in Saurashtra, (Gujarat) India to store rain water. The village now has adequate supply of water even in summer. Collateral benefit of this has been the increase in the subsoil water level which is contributing to improved agricultural activity.
