Rio Tinto Diamonds sells rough diamonds in large volumes on a willing buyer willing seller basis to a number of specialist customers. The relationship between Rio Tinto Diamonds and its customers is based on mutual understanding and trust, and is long-term in nature.
Our customers benefit by receiving a regular supply of consistently assorted rough diamonds. Consistency of assortments and allocations tailored to their respective specialisation allow our customers to develop their own marketing and merchandising activities and help them to grow their downstream business.
All sales of rough diamonds are conducted in Antwerp, Belgium, with representative offices in India and the US.
