Rio Tinto Diamonds' sales and marketing group provides a number of tailored marketing initiatives and support programmes for its customers, for use in their downstream sales and marketing activities.

Select Diamantaire

The Select Diamantaire Programme recognises the unique status of Rio Tinto Diamonds' core customers as providers of diamonds originating from Rio Tinto's mines.

Natural colour diamonds

Rio Tinto Diamonds is the world's largest producer of coloured diamonds and works with retailers and jewellery suppliers in promoting commercial collections of coloured diamonds, including champagne and very rare pink diamonds.

Mine of Origin

The formalised Mine of Origin Mark ensures that there are no issues over the origin of Rio Tinto's diamonds or the quality of the mine that produced them. This allows Rio Tinto Diamonds to specify the country and mine of origin to its customers.

Nazraana

Rio Tinto Diamonds Nazraana initiative is aimed at developing a new category of diamond jewellery purchasing in the all important Indian wedding market. Nazraana, which takes its reference from the royal gift giving rituals of past eras, aims to support diamond jewellery retailers and manufacturers in capturing a higher share of the wedding gifting market with affordable diamond jewellery.
