Welcome to the photo library for Rio Tinto's diamond group where you can find a range of images from our diamond exploration activities through to the sales and marketing of our rough and polished diamonds.

Descriptions for individual images can be provided upon request.

Conditions of use

Photographs on the Rio Tinto Diamonds' web site are available for external use by members of the public following completion of a Request Form (to be emailed to RTDphotolibrary@riotinto.com). Rio Tinto Diamonds' copyright will be waived provided the end use is for research or education purposes and the images are not to be altered or modified in any way. Credit to the photographer and name of the company releasing the image will be required to accompany images for specific applications.

Request for high resolution image

Photographs from the Photo Gallery may be obtained in high resolution. Authorisation from Rio Tinto Diamonds will be required for reproduction of any high resolution images by completing the Request Form and emailing it to the coordinator of Rio Tinto Diamonds' photographic library at RTDphotolibrary@riotinto.com.  A period of seven days should be allowed for receipt of high resolution images.
